The bride and groom did their elopement right. Choosing a meaningful location, keeping things intimate and created a relaxed timeline that allowed them to have meaningful experiences with their loved ones and enjoy living in the moment with one each other.
For this bride and groom, the logistics of planning a full-blown wedding weren’t exactly something they were looking forward to, so instead they decided to a majority of their wedding budget would be put into meaningful and important elements that matter to them and highlighted everything that made their wedding day special.
Instead of spending money on renting a venue, they bought beautiful lights and decorations to transform the backyard into a whimsical space. Instead of spending money on fancy catering, they ordered their favourite comfort food, pizza, from the local shop down the road. Instead of creating an elaborate and exhaustive timeline, the bride and groom opted for a simpler day that allowed everyone (including me!) enjoy the day in it’s entirety, without the stress of travelling to multiple locations and having to stick to a rigid timeline.
