If you’re looking for a little family-only elopement inspiration then this wedding has so much to offer. The gorgeous bride and groom made a point to incorporate their own personal heritages into the small details of the wedding. Being Scottish, the groom wore a kilt to honour his background and the bride had green details (including her shoes!) to bring it all together. After their unique and emotional ceremony at Toronto City Hall, we made our way to the Broadview Hotel to hangout in their vintage lounge and grab some drinks at the retro bar. Capturing the bride and groom sharing some candid and honest moments at the boutique hotel was one of my favourite moments of the entire wedding day.
The elopement experience allowed the bride and groom to spend they day sincerely enjoying each others company and celebrating their love. They didn’t have the need to rush or tend to small details throughout the day. Instead, they got to sip some drinks together, share some laughs, explore the vintage environment we had at our disposal and eventually settle down for a privately cooked dinner at the Civic Restaurant to cap off the celebrations.
