Anica & Joe at South Pond Farms

Anica and Joe had a perfect, intimate wedding. Having been together over 10 years, they knew they wanted something small and special. It was such an honour to be there when they finally said their vows to each other with beautiful forest backdrop. South Pond Farms made for the ideal rustic, vintage vibe for this low key (and lots of fun!) wedding. I loved being able to explore the farm throughout the day and capture the two of them soaking it all in. I am excited to share these photos, and the story of their lovely day.

Janette

I will start by saying I am grateful I know this woman. I have known Janette since I was three years old, we are best friends. When I was visiting home over the holidays we got together one afternoon to create these. This series explores who she is in this moment, through her form and expression. Film photos were shot on Kodak Portra 400 and Tri-X with Brian's Hasselblad.

Alexis and Manuel at the Hart House

I met Alexis and Manuel for the first time at their engagement session, which is unusual for me. I meet almost all my clients before they book me, I will take them out for drinks or coffee and we really get to know each other. Even though I didn't get to meet Alexis and Manuel before we decided to work together, they were so easy-going and comfortable with me that it felt like we had already gotten to know one another. We spent an early Sunday morning walking around the University of Toronto, where they both went to school. I always like it when couples choose meaningful places to do their engagement sessions. We wandered the Hart House, grabbed coffee, and really just had a fun time talking and taking photos. 

We're Headed Out West

I have an exciting announcement! 3B and I are headed out west for a whole month. We are looking for couples to shoot, photographers to hang out with, and beautiful places to go. If you are interested in a session or just want to get a coffee, get in touch. I am looking forward to showing 3B my home and I would love to share it with a few others too!

Sara & Kurt Layflat Album Design

There is something about designing things for print that just resonates with me. Being able to experiment with layout design and tell other peoples' stories is a meaningful process. It feels great to be able to hand couples a tangible gift from their day, where they can relive their memories of those important moments. 

This album was for a fellow photographer and friend, Sara (and her husband Kurt) designed for 3B Photography . These two had a perfect intimate wedding, it was so exciting to be able to relive their day through the images and use them to tell the narrative. The whole layout is up on my design work portfolio.
